Brad Weslake is Area Head of Humanities and an Associate Professor of Philosophy at NYU Shanghai. He is also a Global Network Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at NYU. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Rochester.

Professor Weslake works primarily on causation and explanation in the sciences, and has research interests more broadly in philosophy of science, philosophy of physics, philosophy of biology, and philosophy of mind.
