NYU Shanghai provides shuttle bus services for community members to commute between the New Bund Campus and ECNU Zhongbei Campus, as well as shuttle buses for the students to commute between the New Bund Campus and Jingyao Residential Halls.
2026 China Labor Day Break Service Announcement
- ECNU shuttle bus service: Suspended during May 1-3; resume on May 4.
华师大班车：5月1日 - 5月3日暂停；5月4日起恢复正常运行。 - Jingyao residence shuttle bus service: Suspended during May 1-2, services resumed on May 3 with weekend schedule.璟耀宿舍班车：5月1日 - 5月2日暂停运行，5月3日起按周末时刻表恢复运行。
2026 Spring Semester Residence Shuttle Bus Schedule
Shuttle bus service between the JingYao Residence Halls and the NYU Shanghai New Bund Campus will operate from Monday January 19, 2026. For detailed schedules, please refer to the information under the “Residence Halls” module below.
Important Tips:
- Arrangements of Loading spots:
- Peak hours (7:30am -10:45am on weekday mornings): Pick-up and drop-off will be moved across the street. Please see below the instruction route showing the loading spot.
- Non-peak hours & weekends: Pick-up and drop-off will remain in front of Ji Hotel (全季酒店).
- Planning Ahead: We highly recommend that you review your class schedule and bus schedules in advance. This will help you plan which bus(es) to take each day to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.
- Arrival Time: Shuttle seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We suggest arriving 30-45minutes before your class to ensure you have enough time. For example, If your class starts at 8:15am, aim to take the 7:30 am bus to avoid possible overcrowding on the 7:45 am bus. If everyone who needs to take the bus waits until 7:45am, there may not be enough seats and you might need to find alternative transportation to campus.
